A safe, teaching-first vibe-coding studio for children aged 3–15. Children describe a game or story in English or Kiswahili and build it with an AI helper, while they stay the captain.
Now in development · Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and web · Kwa Kiingereza na Kiswahili
Adults "vibe code" by describing software to an AI. In BridgeDream, describing, planning, checking and fixing are skills we teach.
Every screen, block and helper reply is in both languages, and everything is read aloud for young children.
Every change the AI suggests is shown first. The child keeps it, changes it or says no.
The helper leaves parts of each step for the child to finish, and the child explains a change before keeping it.
Children learn to check AI work instead of trusting it, by finding small mistakes on purpose.
Games are built with picture blocks. X-ray shows older children the JavaScript and Python behind them.
Small installs, cached pictures and sounds, and a free Quick helper that answers common requests without any AI model.
Every project, at every age, follows the same five steps.
Say, tap or type the idea: who, does what, where and when.
Put the helper's plan cards in order and approve them.
Build step by step and fill in the "Your turn!" parts.
Play it, hunt for bugs and compare it with the plan.
Fix, explain how it works, then share or remix.
Parents and teachers stay in control. Read the full privacy and safety notice in English and Kiswahili.
A parent (by M-Pesa or an SMS code) or the school agrees before AI helpers or sharing are switched on.
Nicknames and picture passwords. No dates of birth, locations or photos of faces.
It removes personal details and checks every request and every AI reply in English, Kiswahili and Sheng.
A teacher or parent approves a game before anyone else sees it. There is no chat between children.
Children's games run in a sandbox that cannot reach the internet or the child's account.
If a child writes something that suggests they may be in danger, they see a caring message and the free child helpline 116, and the right adult is told.
BridgeDream's helpers are AI models, and children are told so in their own language: "I am a computer helper, not a person. I can make mistakes, so always check my work!"
We use models from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google and open models through OpenRouter. Claude is our main builder. A model is switched on only after it passes our child-safety tests in English and Kiswahili.
We use AI providers only under zero-data-retention terms. Children's data and projects are never used to train AI models. No adverts, no tracking, no selling of data.
BridgeDream is built and operated by Vumbua Tec Solutions Company Limited, a company incorporated in Tanzania (BRELA Reg. No. 200001885).
We are committed to complying with Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, 2022, and with the child protection and data protection laws of every country where BridgeDream is offered. These include Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and Rwanda's Law No. 058/2021 on the protection of personal data and privacy. Before BridgeDream launches in a country, we complete a data protection impact assessment and a local legal review.
We follow Anthropic's Usage Policy and its guidelines for organisations whose products are used by minors, and we design BridgeDream with UNICEF's guidance on AI and children in mind. Questions: info@vumbuatechnology.co.tz.
